Common Law Entrance Test is conducted for the students who want to be enrolled in Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) law courses offered at 22 National Law Universities and other private Law colleges/universities accepting Law scores. CLAT is organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities consisting of representative universities. Every year, CLAT Exam is conducted once for providing opportunities to the aspirants who are seeking admission to Law Schools & Colleges. CLAT Exam Date 2023
Annual Executive Committee and the General Body Meetings of the Consortium of National Law Universities under the Chairmanship of Prof. Faizan Mustafa has announced the CLAT Exam Date in the press conference held at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. As per the announcement, two Common Law Admission Tests will be held in the year 2023. CLAT 2023 is to be held on 18th December 2022.
CLAT 2023 Exam Date Revised
CLAT 2023 Exam will be held on 18th December 2022 as per the revised CLAT Exams schedule announced by the Consortium of National Law Universities. Check the tentative schedule for CLAT 2023 which will be finalised once the notification is released.

CLAT 2023 Application Form
The Online Application for CLAT Entrance Test has been started from 08th August 2022 for UG Courses. As per the recent update, the last date for submitting CLAT 2023 Application form has been scheduled for 13th November 2022. Click on the below link to submit your online form.
Steps to fill CLAT 2023 Application Form
Step-I Registration – The candidate needs to register by entering their name, mobile number, and email id.
Step-II Login – Log in with your email id and password to access the application form.
Step-III Choose the program of study – After logging in, the first thing is to select the program of study 5-year LLB or one-year LLB
Step-IV Fill the complete form – There will be different fields like personal information, communication details, qualifying examination status, exam center preferences (THREE centers can be selected in the order of preference), and reservation. All fields need to be filled.
Step-V Submit the form – Once the details are duly filled, agree to the declaration, give consent, and submit the form.
Step-VI Pay the application fee – In the last step, pay the application fee (which is category-specific) in online mode using credit or debit cards, or net banking. Note that in addition to the exam fee, candidates will have to pay an additional INR 500 if they want to opt for previous years’ question papers.
Step-VII Get registered by entering details like name, email id and mobile number. Upload scanned copies of signature, photograph and other documents in the prescribed specification. The size and format of pic is given below.

CLAT 2023 Admission Process
In order to get admission in one of the 22 participating NLU’s, candidates need to appear for the CLAT 2023 online entrance exam, which will be conducted by NUALS Kochi this year.
Post that, the counselling round will start after the declaration of results, where the candidates will be granted a seat in the preference order of the NLU (as filled in the online application form), based on seat availability and merit list.
